This time last year, I walked into a new shop in Ryde, smelt the fresh paint, perused the fine equipment, was assailed by the grind of stone on blade, was greeted by the excited shop manager, and spent way too much money on upgrading my gear to the latest and greatest.

That shop was the Skaters Network Shop, Wazza was the manager (and still is!), and the shop itself was chock full of all the latest gear one needs to hit the ice in style and comfort.

I was reminded today that the Skaters Network is about to celebrate their first birthday, and what better way to do that than have a sale!

So head on out to Ryde on the 14th or 15th of this month, chat to Wazz, grab a sausage sandwich and drink, get the skates sharpened, acquire a new stick, and maybe some pads or gloves, a shirt, or a new helmet, 'coz the Winter Season has just begun!
