My NHL Team: Dukla Trencin
What! Brad Smulders? I thought it had to be a Melbourne Ice player, you can't take away our consolation price and give it to some banana-bender.

And part Dutch, my day just keeps getting worse and worse.

It does answer one question though, I had been wondering up until this year whether the MVP was only awarded to local players. I guess I have my answer. Well done Mr Smulders.

The numbers don't lie. Smulders earned the honor. He was a force for the BT's all year long.


I see his stats from the August 1st game versus canberra (the forfeit) counted in his MVP bid. When can the other Canberra & Gold Coast players expect their stats to go into the archives from that match?
