Hey everyone...I posted info about this in the general AIHL forum, but thought I would post in the other teams' spaces as well in case people don't look in the others:

Slapshot Entertainment and the AIHL have decided to do a FREE webcast this year for all our fans! With our new Flash-driven video streamed delivery of the three games, you'll be able to get better quality and more reliable compatibility plus have the option of full-screen scaling of the video. We've also got our greedy little hands on a pro replay bit of kit so instant replays will be used often and will look hot hot hot! As with last year, we will have a 4-camera live-switched broadcast, live commentary, interviews with key players, league reps, etc. and all the action and ceremony of the event.

To enjoy this weekend's coverage, you just to go to our website and register. As with last year, we'll have a chat area simultaneous to the match so you can trash talk the other viewers.

We'll begin selling the 2009 DVD sets as of the 14th of September and around the same time the Grand Final match will be airing on Brisbane's QCTV, on Adelaide's Ch31 and on Melbourne 31. Check out our website for the exact dates.

Just a bit more info for you folks:

- pre-orders for 2009 DVD sets are now possible through our website. We have a "Trifecta" deal (thanks for the term Josh ) for $54.95 for the last three Finals sets, or $26.96 for this year's 3-disc set only

- the TELEVISION BROADCAST of the Grand Final game will take place at the following times and on these metro community stations:
-- Brisbane (QCTV) at 7pm on the 9th of September (Weds), repeating at midnight that evening and then again at 1:30pm on the 12th of Sept (Sat)
-- Melbourne (31) at 3:30pm on the 17th of Sept (Thurs) - not sure if it repeats (check their program guide)
-- Adelaide (31) at 1:30pm on the 12th of Sept (Sat) - not sure if it repeats (check their program guide)

I know it sucks that we don't have the Blue Tongues game on tv but the DVD version is ultimately better anyway as there's lots of good stuff, interviews, etc. before the game
